    Giraffes taste gamey.

    Not recomended for the common consumer, but with a strong red wine and a side of grilled vegtables, it's a good departure from mundane fare like cats, dogs, baby seal and spotted owl.

    We dont have giraffes here we do have camels. They are very expensive when you run over them or they wander into a two way range scenario. Never tried them on the grill though.

    I thought it was a reference to picking off the low hanging fruit. Plenty of parallels can be drawn between that and the OC crowd.

    I'm pretty sure I had camel in Israel about 20 years ago - the menu said beef stew, but that was the stringiest, strangest tasting "beef" I have ever eaten. :)
