Only if you actually do open carry, the law won't require open carry, just allow it. Also only if your holster has no retention. And if you don't know retention techniques. And if your SA fails. I realize that you are being sarcastic but if it were true lives would still be saved. By the time the badguys are done shooting all the open carriers everyone else would have time to escape. In effect the open carrier has saved their lives.
