Today? Probably not. Believe me though, the police know it's changed. There have been news articles all over the place talking about departments putting every officer through 2 hour training sessions, town hall meetings with law enforcement answering community questions about the new laws. Anyone who doesn't know about it lives under a rock. It's been all over the print, internet and TV news media.

Always good to see things move in the right direction. Nothing like getting to finally being "allowed" to exercise your constitutional rights.

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

At least you didn't get stuck with the $0.05 per bullet ammo tax that was being proposed (lucky you, lol). Imagine what a box of .22 would have run you... $44.99 for the average stuff! A full 125% cost increase. I don't even know how much the new gun tax is going to be, though. I can only imagine. Your state's reasoning is that a TAX on firearms is going to decrease their numbers on the street - where it is already illegal to have them. Very sound logic...
At least other places are wising up.

So if my chl in my state reciprocates with the chl laws in the newly open carry state...... That means I can open carry while I'm in that state, right?
