All we can do is hope.

Bill Warren, the owner of Warren Theaters, is a native of Wichita and I know him personally. I would consider him 2A neutral.

The Wichita Warren Theaters have never been 'posted'. The new OC signs are in response to 1) Wichita and OK recently allowing OC, 2) the Colorado incident and 3) to put the sheep at ease.

But banning any form of safe, holstered handgun carry is still an emotional, illogical response to a bunch of media hype about OC.
Per the OP's post, the sign "requested" no OC. Didn't say anything about banning it.

Thanks for that. After I said I was going to send them an email I realized I didn't know of any way of doing so. I will send something off to them shortly.

True, it's easy enough to untuck my shirt and go concealed.

Asking people to avoid open carry seems legitimate as some people have in irrational fear of some tools. Banning CC is rarely the right thing to do. I dont live far from this theatre and have never felt the need to go there. After this I might patronize them once just for principle.

Update! I got a call from Bill Warren himself thanking me for my email. We had a good conversation for a few minutes, during which time he confirmed there's a Warren coming near me in a few years. If I'm still here when it comes, I'll certainly make it my theater of choice!
