And it's that sort of blind intent to lord it over the People that is so utterly sinister and dangerous about such people as her. Feinstein et al are good cases in point. We hire them to assist in sharing the reins of power, however temporarily, and in so doing they are afforded a huge potential to do catastrophic damage to our liberties if given the least opportunity and lack of attention on our part.
There are lots and lots of things I am not knowledgeable enough to speak intelligently about. The difference between me and so many of the anti-gun crowd? I know when to admit ignorance and shut the hell up.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.
It would be funny if it wasn't so scary.
Thanks. thats funny. I just posted that link on FB.

Fortunately, this liberty-hater opted to not run for the council again.
Sadly for CA, there are still thousands others like her in the state assembly, counties and cities/towns across the state to gum up the works liberty-wise. No threats there (of changing for the better, that is), at least not anytime soon.
I shot myself three times last week with an unloaded pistol. I dropped the mag out, racked the slide, a bullet fell out. Then I set it on the table and walked away. Wouldn't you know it, the darn thing shot me in the ass!

Well, an unload firearm is one of the most dangerous. While a few of you joke, that it is dangerous because it can't be used, there is another. I'm always concerned about an "unloaded" firearm, because I know it just be the one type of firearm I might make a mistake with, and is therefore a threat. For example when cleaning a firearm, though I take precautions, I check three times to make sure a firearm is unloaded. It is an irony, that when I first purchased a handgun, I was a bit scared when I racked in a round to the chamber. Now, I'm scared I might assume a firearm is unloaded.
The report did not intend to get that message across, but now that I'm more comfortable with firearms, I believe what I think to be unloaded is more dangerous then one I think is loaded.
In addition, an unloaded gun does provide a threat to many. It can be easily loaded. Why wear an unloaded firearm (in states that don't give you an option to keep it loaded) unless like many who open carry state, there is the added threat you provided to the criminal.
2A is about being able to defend yourself, and being a threat to criminals. So I fully agree, in a state where you can't carry legally unless unloaded, unloaded is one of the few ways to be a threat to the criminals while using 2a rights. THe woman who states it is a threat, has just admited the valid reason they should be allowed to OC unloaded as 2a protects / states.
