Starbucks Appreciation Day 2013
The 2012 Starbucks Appreciation Day was a resounding success. I did a search for one in 2013 but no results.
With all the recent negative media attention toward 2A shouldn't we do another Starbucks event to generate some positive publicity for both 2A in general and OC?

If I'm recalling correctly it was on Valentines day.
Been calling it like I see it since 1988 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Starbucks Appreciation Day history
For those who missed it...
There was a movement by the National Gun Victims Action Council to boycott Starbucks on Valentines Day because they allow OC and CC where it is legal. There was a counter-move for a BUYcott, circulated onsome of the gun blogs. I believe I discovered it on OC.org. last year but I understand the history goes back to 2010. Anyway, pro2A folks were encouraged to visit Starbucks on Feb. 14, 2012 , carry OC or CC as legal, and pay/tip with $2 bills to symbolize support for 2A.
A Seattle area man created a line of t-shirts and caps adapting from the Starbucks logo. You can view /buy at I Love Guns & Coffee They have a line for ladies too and has since expanded the line to include other items.
They look sharp at the range or grocery store, garnering comments and questions offering an opportunity to comment positively on 2A. And of course they are especially appropriate for Starbucks visits!

I don't know what Starbucks politics are. I do remember several years ago all the employees in one of there stores were robbed and MURDERED at gunpoint. That is enough to turn the most staunch anti gun into a Pro 2 Amendendnent supporter when you realize You are responsible for your safety, not the police. I wonder If they allow employees to CC?

Nice show of support. I actually switched to Starbucks K-Cups last year after this event.
