With $15K now, I hope he can get a better holster than that Fobus he's using!

That's exactly the sort of harassing handling that has upstanding carriers up in arms. Glad the folks involved saw it that way, too. Kudos to the other citizens at the scene for helping to inform that LEO of the black hole in his knowledge, on that subject.
Amazing, that anyone in LE would draw-down on someone in a lawful carry state, simply because of visibility and zero other corroborating factors indicating "threat" of any kind.

The Officer who did this had a chance to get it right, before he got it wrong smh.
Someone must have a big ego.As a LEO told a friend of mine once, your ignorance of the law is no excuse. That works both ways.
It's nice to see the courts hold municipalities to the law.
There are four boxes to be used in the defense of liberty: soap - ballot - jury - ammo

America...a Constitutional Republic. NOT a democracy as the liberals would have us believe.
EARTH FIRST...we'll strip mine this planet first then move on to the next world.
NONAME762 that is very true.It should work both ways, but i wouldn't hold my breath.
Lets hope that they do this state wide.

$15k would cover my short list..

I would look for a lot more stupidity like this as gun laws are pushed back and repealed over time. And as others have posted I would not look for much of courts holding LE to their boundaries. This was a nice one however.

It's to bad the LEO couldn't simply take a few xtra mins to at least do a little research first.
I would have expected this kind of stupidity in Seattle or the east side, but I would have thought they would know better up north in a smaller city. I guess not.
I think the city got off WAY too easy on this if it's only a 15K hit to them. This guy was threatened with imminent death by an agent of the government for doing something perfectly legal and logical, right here in the good old USA.
What if the officer had gone ahead and pulled the trigger? I think my patience for open carry baiters just got a little boost if this sort of extreme reaction can still happen in a decent sized city PD here.
