    Thats great!
Are you going to OC now?

We have OC and had it before CC. I prefer to conceal.

And, nicely, they clearly stipulate that "Breach Of Peace" would NOT exist merely based on visibility of an armed citizen.

Of course, this is only the state police making this statement. I wonder if they're actually to be taken as the highest authority on that question in that state. Seems to me that unless the state supreme court makes the determination, it's still a matter of opinion and risks folks being a test-case.

Still, not a bad statement. Fairly clear and succinct.

Kudos, to the CT SP for making it. Perhaps it'll keep thousands more folks out of irrational hot water merely because others have seen an armed citizen and yet haven't seen any overtly menacing behavior to support that bare fear.

Let's also hope that 911 operators will be able to calm MWAG calls by making sure callers understand what is legal prior prior to sending police.

i think i will continue to prefer concealment. some places i do not think twice about open carry, in the woods, etc. fairly sure the state police are not the last authorities on a state wide law; tough greatly respected. still a great step in the right direction.

And in a hyper liberal state like CT..... gotta love it.
