    First time OC this weekend

Well, I did the Wally World walk and went to Lowe's this weekend. I decided to OC just because I can. No other reason.
Absolutely no reaction from anyone. No questions. No stares. No nods. No knowing winks. Nothing, zero, nada, zilch.

Oh well, it is Western Tennessee and I guess people aren't as surprised as I thought they would be. Or interested for that matter.

I may OC again in Millington (where I was this weekend), but I am not comfortable doing it in Memphis yet. Too many weirdos.

Congratulations. Glad it went well. Wish we had open carry in Texas.

I bet that's how it works in 99.9% of the time. It's that .1% that gets in the news.

Wish I could.. All though there is no law that says I can't, there is none that says I can even tho my state is technically an OC state (yeah, MA sucks). I will occasionally OC around my house, and the reason for this is to let everyone know to skip my house when shannangains may arise :) my town is very 2a friendly so I dont think I would have issues OC around town.

I am in West TN also. It's rare in my area to see someone open carrying but glad to know someone is giving it a whirl.

Nah. You must have been doing it to make a statement. You just must have.

Glad to see there's a modicum of sensibility in the Memphis area. Though, I'll bet there are at least a few LEO's who'd bust your chops a bit over being seen carrying. They must have been elsewhere. Then again, it is Tennessee. Kudos on the safe journey.

And so that's how the story goes......most people don't notice or don't care.

Good for you. Keep it up.
