July 2014 in Kansas ought to be an interesting month for both citizens and LEOs

    911: "What's your emergency ma'am?"

    Lady: "He's, he's, he's got a gun!"

911: "And what is he doing with the gun, ma'am?"

Lady: "He's wearing it and walking around...please send the police, and hurry!"

    911: "CLICK..."

    Good for Kansas...
It will be beyond my lifetime before Florida allows it, if ever.

    LOL!

I thought the same thing when it passed here.....actually it was not too much different. There are a few that OC and most that do not. I am not sure whether I ever will or not. Not sure I want the attention.

There's an OC club around Liberty, MO that made the news at a Steak N Shake so I wouldn't be surprised if they arrange something across the border.

Ret: While that's the way it should be, there's still gonna be some hassling going on.

"Supporters of the measure contend that a patchwork of local regulations has infringed upon gun ownership rights guaranteed by the state and U.S. constitutions."
The law brings KS closer to abiding by the KS and U.S. Constitutions. Requiring a "Permit" to CC is still an "Infringement".

"In Missouri, Republicans are once again pushing legislation designed to nullify federal gun laws..."
KS has already passed that law as the U.S. Constitution does NOT allow illegal agencies like the BATFE, which is a blatant overstep of the "Federal Enumerated Powers", as most of us are familiar with this blatant "Lawlessness" of the federal government.

It is past time to run our Nation "Lawfully".
Our Federal Government has zero say regarding our "Gun Rights". ZERO! Same as our States and their Municipalities.
Until that day, we will NOT know "True Liberty".

This was supposed to be re-settled when the "Constitutional Republicans" fought the "Democrats" in the "Civil War".

Gun Control measures are Unconstitutional Infringements. Period.

There are areas of Kansas that I am not sure it would end with a click even now post July 1st. The places where OC has not been allowed you would still get to speak with an officer and you may just have to tell a judge to go look at the newly passed laws. I was surprised when I was speaking to a local officer about changes to our CC law that passed and went live July 1 after the CC law passed having to do with CC in churches and elsewhere that were in the law when written but removed due to stupid things done by local big city governments in the state, like posting parks, so now if you doo not want a gun in a church you have to post a gun buster; any way he was ignorant of that law change and a couple of other issues with that law. SO based on that I wonder if dispatchers and street officers are aware of the changes or are just going to go on and act like nothing has changed.

Then there are other places where to see a holstered gun on a person hip is like "Oh, forgot to take off area coming in from working the cows or farm work.
