Because he can

In my opinion, he should have known better than to open carry in a situation like this. Just playing a "cat-n-mouse" game with LEO. It may have been his right to open carry, but in my opinion, using a gun to make a political statement just begs for trouble. As far as I'm concerned he was foolish in the extreme! And demonstrated a gross lack of judgment.
YMMV
It doesn't matter why he was open carrying. The fact of the matter is we need more people like him. This is a big deal for many, not just gun control. Why should anybody dictate what is reasonable, acceptable, or authorized for someone else.

OK, that's just plain weird. My old boss's name is John Atkinson. I'm reasonably sure he wasn't the one making the complaint, but still, weird.
As for Mr. Noble, I really hope he can find a good lawyer and make the police back off. We can only hope.

Only if we can bring up the concealed carry badge, too.
fortiter in re, suaviter in modo (resolutely in action, gently in manner).

Isn't it funny that the websites for many local television stations and newspapers do not plainly identify what city or region they cover?
