I can tell you right now that overnight FedEx and UPS also carry lots of critters. For instance, tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, poisonous frogs, millipedes and centipedes, they're all sent overnight from dealers/breeders to their new owners' homes. It's probably best that the FedEx and UPS guys don't know what they're carrying
Don't ever underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
That doesn't include Christmas holidays.
yeah, UPS guys and pizza guys definably need to CC
We had a deal with the local UPS to watch out for damaged packages, containing drugs. We made several good busts by sealing the damage and letting them make the delivery.
All my ammo arrives, marked, Small Arms ammunition.
Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
My wife always carry OC in and about the house.
When the UPS driver came in for a delivery, he commented something like "Smart thing to do nowdays" and that was it.
Reading the other posts, I realized they must sometimes get into "interesting" situations ... never thought about it before.
When he comes we always chat for a few minutes, I offer him a drink.
Next time I'll ask him.

The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

My Black powder comes in big boxes with Explosives stickers all over it. The UPs lady never acts a bit nervous about it.

The only thing my UPS guy has ever said was
"Can't you ever get a light weight package?"
My UPS guy says he will be coming to my home if the SHTF. Last week I did not greet him but a package from Midway USA was left by the front door. I had ordered some ammo and the box besides being heavy was noticeably torn with clear tape all around the sides. Upon opening did I not only notice five of the boxes (50 rnd boxes ) of 357 Sig damaged but I was missing five boxes of 45ACP. Looks like the box was damaged on accident or on purpose and 250 rounds of 45ACP disappeared. I called Midway and they will file a claim with UPS. I am confident that Midway will take care of me but this is the first time I have had an issue with stolen ammo.
I had a chat with a fedex guy the other day while shipping something from one of the retail sites. He told me they are positively not allowed to carry ANYTHING. I showed him my surefire and let him know about their 'defense' flashlight which might be passable in his situation. He appreciated the suggestion. How can these companies expect the employees to be required to go into dangerous situations w/o protection? They can't guarantee the safety of their drivers. I'd never want the job.
