For CCers: if CC option were removed, would you OC?
Let's stipulate that somehow a future president were to realize his dream of making nonLEO CC a violation of federal law, but he was not able to get rid of open carry in the states where it is now legal.
For those of us (this includes me) who prefer to CC exclusively now, would you switch to OC? I would.

At that point...we'd know who was armed then wouldn't we?
I'd do whatever I had to...to remain armed.
I can say no more least I be banished from the thread forever.

I CC about 90% of the time do to work. OCing only at home, in the yard and at the range
I would make the switch to OC from CC:
1) Church
2) Dates with wife, dinner, movies etc.
3) Shopping
4) All other non-work related activities
Being Self Employed I have to meet customers (liberal northeast) do estimates and work on peoples properties. My M&P .40 would not be an accessory that would be helpful keeping food on the table in my neck of the woods!! I would hope that in this case so many will be OCing that the sheep would be less likely to complain. A classic song from Aerosmith is now coming to mind.

And that post is, depending on the situation. My work requires me to be in what some would consider dangerous environments. Another facet of my work requires me to go the locations where a rattle snake or copperhead has
take up residency in a nice warm equipment cabinet. Shooting them is not an issue. Getting them out with a stick where you can shoot them is an entirely different matter.

Would I go unarmed if I were deemed a criminal if I concealed? Absolutely not. Now, that might well restrict some of the places (at least initially) where carry would be tolerated, but it would also bring to the forefront the obviousness of the simple fact that upstanding people are NOT a threat.

Yes.
The only place I would not carry is on the job. Company policy.

Since I already live in a state where OC is legal, and am sometimes forced by law to OC or go unarmed. I would make the switch to full time OC.

I voted no , but only because I believe it would severely hurt my income if all my customers knew I carried a gun. Sad, but that's reality. I'd open carry outside of my town....
