Thumbs up Want to talk about awkward...

I was at Wal-Mart today picking up a few things. It generally feels like the inside of an oven in Wal-Mart (at least at mine) since they had the heat up so high. So I took my jacket off exposing my peice which is legal to do in PA.

I was walking around browsing at some things I needed to get when a soccer mom looking lady came around the corner with her cart sporting a "Million Moms March" sweater

There was a slight pause as she saw my Glock and I saw her shirt. She gave me a look that only a mother could give, backed up and moved on to the next isle.

    Awkward...

That kind of says it all! Lucky she wasn't loaded, sometimes those looks can kill!

I'm surprised someone from Walmart didn't ask you to leave. I thought I saw someone post here a few months ago that "Wally World" has a corporate policy against firearms in their stores, even though they usually don't post anything.

I open carry in two different Walmart stores regularly. I've had comments from greeters, associates, and checkers, but never anything negative nor have I been asked to leave or conceal.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

You should have asked her if she knew where the ammo counter was.

You would have been better off to say "Hello" in your most polite and respectful voice you could muster, and maybe wish her "Have a good holiday season." while you step to the side and yield to her to pass by.

    Every little bit helps.

Kill them with kindness!!! Nothing is better than when the pissed off person is yelling like a loon and the other person is being polite.
