Weird to see a poll concerning an existing law rather than a possible law or other situation.

It stems from a incident in Parma at a Taco Bell.
More here including a MP3 of the actual encounter

The police Chief and or the dept. doesn't like OC! So what! It is a legal activity and there is nothing they can do about it! Except they have some legal entity send letters to all the business they they can put signs up to prevent people from exercising their rights!!!

The patrons in Taco Hell were afraid of being robbed?! B.S.! If someone is going to rob a place, you won't see a gun until they are robbing the place!

I don't think a crook is smart, but come on! I feel that the person(s) that called in are even dumber!

What if it had been another LEO? The police I guess should investigate, but to what depth?

Would it be reasonable to have a car drive by and observe? To see if he was acting strange?

To detain him was wrong IMHO.

The one LEO said it was St. Patrick's day and a lot of people are drinking, so? How many cars did they stop? With his logic, they must have stopped every car they saw! "It's St. Patrick's day and a lot of people are drinking",right?

If I walk out of a bar, get into my car, and a LEO sees me, does that mean he can stop me even if I don't behave like I'm intoxicated? Isn't it a legal activity to walk out of a bar and get into my car and drive if I haven't been drinking? Don't I have to show some behavior that is odd or questionable?

    I just don't know anymore!

    Rant off!
