That, once again, points out, at least to me, why it is a mistake to assume that being a political "Liberal" is necessarily synonymous with being pro gun conrol.

I know that there are members of this Forum(not me) who are Liberal Democrats, yet are as fervently pro Second Amendment as the most ardent Conservative Republicans.

How to answer, "Are you a cop?"

    1. "I'd tell you, but, well, you know how that goes."

    2. "Are you?"

    3. "Quiet, you'll blow my cover."

    4. "No but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night!"

    5. "No but I played one on TV!"

    6. "Why, did you call 911?"

Heh, exactly. I drove my daughter's car to work, with the Obama sticker on, and took some ribbing for it. Of course, my daughter is pro 2A and shoots with me whenever she gets a chance. I give her a hard time about some of her other political opinions sometimes too though.
How a politician stands on the Second Amendment tells you how he or she views you as an individual; as a trustworthy & productive citizen, or as part of an unruly crowd that needs to be lorded over, controlled, supervised and taken care of.

Yes; it seems to me that a liberal attitude about firearms would be "Everyone should carry them" and a conservative attitude "Only soldiers and LEOs should carry them".

"the only way that gun is dangerous is if it's carried by an idiot, the type of idiot who drives his big SUV too fast while talking on his cell phone and drinking hot coffee. So why don't you go back to being that kind of idiot and leave him be."

That is PRICELESS! And an Obama stick too?? Amazing! But what a great come back!
