Stopped in Walmart???
Ok this has never happened to me (in a Walmart any ways)
I was walking around the craft section with wife and daughter when all of a sudden these two stuffed animals come flying over the shelves and one hits me the other has a recording box in it hits my daughter in the head. She is only 9 and she starts to cry (it hurt).
I flew out of the isle and tracked the laughing teenagers a few isles and land into them but good. Telling them that the store is not a playground and that if they have a desire to play to do it else where. then the Sore mgr shows up.
He sees I am carring and pulls me aside to find out if I am a LEO and I told him no just law abiding citizen excersizing me rights as a free AMerican and he smiles. Then he wants to know what is the problem I told him and the store mgr makes them appologise to me and my daughter.
He then gets on the intercom and asks for their parents to meet us in electronics. The kids tell hime that they were dropped off by their parrents and wont be back to pick them up for at least two hours.
Mgr asks them to call parents on their cell phone and he tells parents to come and get their kids and that they are not allowed in the store alone again.
Mgr pulls me aside and thanks me for OCing in his store and that they were tracking two thuggish looking kids and when they saw me they quickly exited the store.
He also told me how glad he was that I kept my cool and wishes more people would OC.
I thanked him payed for our stuff and left feeling good I made a good choice to OC.

That's completely awesome, and totally different than what happened to a good friend of mine recently, which is recounted HERE

I used to work security at a local mall here in the Las Vegas area. It was all too common for parents to drop off their kids while they went gambling at a nearby casino.
The ages of the kids that were dropped off varied from 9-17 years old. The parents made the oldest child responsible for the younger kids. This was an accident waiting to happen. Once the parents had left we had to keep a very close eye on them. They would go from store to store until we received enough complaints from merchants to take action. Our mall had a "Code of Conduct" posted at all the entrances. Once these little troublemakers crossed the line we were required to escort the kids to security. We then requested the parents contact numbers and requested that they come pick up their kids. This happens all too often.
Once the parents show up they want to blame security for their kids bad behavior. The would accuse us of "singling their kids out", for get this, "just being kids!"
Long story short, most of the time the parents blamed our security staff for their kids bad behavior! This never seems to amaze me.

Well done Snake Eater!
I see parents blame everyone else for their child's behavior...almost daily...darn those schools, teachers, and principals...always making kids to 'nasty things'.

Nice to see the store manager did the right thing. If more would not allow their business to become play grounds it would be much better for all of us that have to shop.

You should have at least filed a criminal mischif report, if not an assault charge against them..they'll do it again, count on it.

Awesome response on the part of the manager. From the sounds of it he handled the situation perfectly. Considering how rare a good attitude like that is, it would be nice of you to send a quick e-mail to Wal-Mart corporate headquarters with the manager's name and an expression of your appreciation. Help give the guy a leg up at work. We're all always so quick to punish bad behavior we often forget to reward the good.

Wow, not the ending I was expecting! That's a great story!

This is fantastic. More and more people are getting with the program. People are using common sense instead of freaking out at the sight of guns. Glad you caught the 2 brats and the manager made their parents come get them.

Thank you I don't go for that I was raised in the old ways. I have resect for my elders and I don't go for the way parents are raising (or not raising) their children.
I was in a Walmart in NC when visiting my sister when these teeny boppers (teen females) where all over the store using vulgar language, running, throwing balls and such just wreaking havoc for the toy isles to electronics and I had had enough I was lecturing them and people are staring at me like I'm the one doing something wrong then the Mother starts on me that I don't have the right to correct her kids. I informed her that someone had to since she wouldn't and it was on. I am not going to put up withit and I don't think any one else should either.

Well, yes and no. In your friend's case it was concealed carry that became unconcealed carry. Slight difference, but worth mentioning.
Inadvertant unconcealed carry might have the tendency to create more panic than open carry. JMHO.
