Like Ghuqu2 suggests, any chance living in MO would work out for you? Gotta warn you, though, doing so may require filing 2 state tax returns.

Just wondering if this could keep you with a CCW permit with no lapses.

Living in MO is not an option as far as I can see. I may end up working in the state on occasion, but that would be about it. We have to be closer to family and any possible emergencies.

Only if you are willing to maintain 2 homes, and file state taxes in to places.

I have that covered as well. Home or apartment.......my girlfriend's name will be on the lease or contract and I will have a temporary forwarding address just as if I would working an out-of-town job. Or the possibility of lodging with family members for a short period. This all revolves around a terminally ill family member, and the length of our stay is undetermined. Not actively seeking loopholes here, and never suggest anything illegal. It's just that difficulties and issues have rained down on our lives recently, and deep down inside I know things should be a lot simpler than they appear even though society's main goal continues to be oppressive to us all.
