After more than a couple of store clerks looked panicked after seeing my Colt auto on my side while in Tractor Supply, I realized that I had not looked at the front door for a 'No Guns' sign. I quickly pulled my shirt tail out covering the gun and left the store. I checked, and to my relief, there was none, so I uncovered, went back in, and continued shopping. I made sure to ask for my needs and be polite as to calm the panic-ees. Now I will be positive each and every time before going into a new place to be in compliance with VA OC laws. My next hurdle is OC in restuarants, probably with my sweet wife carring at the same time, holding hands and looking harmless!
Tell us how it goes when you go to the restaurant the first time. I can't wait to do it here in Tennessee when our new restaurant carry law goes into effect after June 1st!
