Oregon. It's also a shall-issue state. Here, you can OC, own fully-automatic weapons, own practically any weapon if you can afford it. Of course, there isn't "Castle Law" yet, nor the statutory presumption of innocence when claiming self-defense, nor shielding of people from civil lawsuits if not found guilty of a crime. Still, it's better than many places.
Check the OpenCarry.org web site.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.

Wisconsin is a partially open carry state. Yes, you may walk many places with an openly displayed handgun in a holster.
Then, as you enter your car to drive home, you must remove the handgun from the holster, unload it, and lock it in a box for the trip. Once there, you may take it back from the box, load it, and go inside.
Still no bars, state parks, restaurants serving alcohol, Government owned buildings, schools or school events, yadda yadda...
100%, no concealed carry.
Wisconsin kinda' sucks...
Washington Post 06/28/2010 re: Supreme Court Decision
"The court's decision means that the enigmatically worded Second Amendment... identifies an individual right to gun ownership, like the freedom of speech, that cannot be unduly restricted by Congress, state laws or city ordinances. "
Can't beat New Mexico. Open carry w/o permit and concealed carry with permit. NM is a SHALL ISSUE state. Open or concealed carry anywhere in your vehicle of a loaded firearm without a permit of any kind. No registration, no licensing and no waiting period. To top it all off, great weather!

Pennsylvania...is a shall issue, open carry state. Also very hunter friendly...lots of state game land set aside, as well as hunting on private property...yours or any land owner you ask permission from.

Kentucky, Golden carry state. At 18 you can OC with no permit.
Prepare for the worst and hope it never happens
OC is legal in WA, we also lead the way with "shall issue" concealed permits. State preempts local firearms laws as well. No duty to retreat but we are not civilly immune unless we were asked to act by a Police Officer.

Ohio is open carry, we have castle doctrine and shall issue CCW.
