First open carry in PA
I had no idea I could open carry until I came upon this forum. I tried it out now 2 nights in a row following work. I carry a S&W M&P 9mm compact in an Right side AIWB in a Desantis clip. I stuck it in my pants then bloused my shirt over it then walked into the bar. I felt pretty conspicuous, like the first time I carried concealed. Nobody noticed. Last night I did the same thing but went into Barnes and Nobles. There were no seats so I went in a roped off area in the back for presentations. It was unroped though. So I'm sitting there and some lady who works there comes to the area and says loudly ,"Excuse me!!" My heart leapt into my throat, thinking I was gonna get yelled at for having my gun, and I wasn't wanting a confrontation. She then said, "You're not allowed in this section." Whew. I sat in a lounge chair. In all I was there for about an hour. Nobody noticed. We'll see what happens in the future as I carry more openly. Now however, I have to get off the computer to go to my inlaws in NJ for two days. I am not looking forward to being relatively defenseless for two days. I'm not willing to break the law either cause I want to keep carrying where I can, here where I live. Thanks for the good info. I'll keep in touch.

Thanks for the report. Remember you're never defenseless if you use what is between your ears.

Interesting...
I live in FL where OC is a no-no, but this summer I'm heading to IN and MI where OC is legal...I may experiment. Although I don't give CC a second thought, OC is going to be a new 'ballpark' for me.
We'll see...

Be careful in michigan, if your going to OC, we are a shall issue state, but they (LEOs) frown on it...You will be hassled.
