    Best Buy OC resolution

Since I didn't hear from anyone and Jodie was back today, I stopped into Best Buy. After removing my pistol and leaving it in the car, of course.

Jodie was in a meeting, but the other manager came up to me. I said "Hi, I'm hoping to speak with Jodie," and he said "Is this about the forearms policy?"

    Okaaaay...

He said they're still looking into it, but they were under the impression that it was Corporate Policy that no firearms are allowed in stores. Which is BS because if you read my post, one of the first things Jodie said was "I know, we're not posted." and "Oh, it's not policy."

    !!!!

I reminded him of that exchange, and he sheepishly admitted that yes, they got the email from Corporate, and they will not be posting the store. So apparently, we ARE welcome to shop at Best Buy, OPEN CARRYING, and will not be asked to leave.

And then he said "as long as you don't like, draw down on anyone, ok?"

Ok. Check. If they get robbed, I'm totally going to mind my own business and wait for someone else to call the cops. And then wait for the cops and be a good witness. Got it. Thanks Best Buy.

Best Buy sucks. They have the worst returns policy in the business. For everyday electronics I will shop Walmart and for the less mainstream stuff my first stop is always Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!. Newegg has the best return policy in the online realm. Shipping is always lightning fast and often free depending on your item. Best of all...NO TAX!

FYI: Anything purchased on Walmart.com: Save money. Live better. can returned to the brick & mortar locations if it fails to meet your satisfaction.

Nope. I didn't even get face time with the original manager who asked me to leave...or the phone call I was promised. /s on. Why on earth would they go and try to give good customer service by sending a gift card? /s off.

You should write to their headquarters and inform them. I'm sure you'll get an apology for how you were treated.

Best Buy went out of business here, they were selling everything with no return policy, and you couldn't open boxes.Somebody bought a 50" flat screen paid for it and when they opened the box at home the tv screen was damaged,Best buy told them sorry no returns.I will never step inside a BB again, especially after hearing about your escapade

    great followup Bunny...

as far as Best Buy goes, I have no problems with them. I've returned several things there and can't very well go to circuit city anymore.

    Wink

And then he said "as long as you don't like, draw down on anyone, ok?"

Unless somebody cuts in front of you in the check-out line. Then it's OK.

But it's fine to twirl around and shoot in the air like some deranged cowgirl, yelling "Who ya gotta shoot to get some HELP around here?!" though, right?
