    Concealed or Open Carry

I live in SC and my sister and I own a business. She is the Prez And I am the VP. Is it possible for me to open carry while I am at work with something signed by her? I ask this because all the gun stores I go to everyone open carries. Thanks for your help.

Do you have a carry permit? You should check your local and state laws for the correct answer.

You can carry in your own business just like you can in your own home. You can carry open or concealed without a permit.I wouldn't think you would need anything signed by her as long as you also are an owner.

More than likely it is legal for you to do so. Depending on the business, it may or may not be wise to do so.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Sorry about that. Yes I have a CWP issued by SC. I wear shorts or jeans with an untucked t-shirt so 99% of the time no one will know. I carry either a SA 9mm sc or a Walther pps 9mm and just can't get comfortable with IWB. I just don't wan't to get into trouble with printing or flashing someone while working in the warehouse.

Be sure to check the local laws but, I used to live in SC and worked part time at a gun store/range. We all open carried and this was before SC had any type of permit to allow carry out in public. The law was, you could carry any way you wanted on your own property and in your place of business as long as the owner was OK with it.

Like I said though, be sure to check and make sure what the law says.

Its a choice, but no one knows I have a gun unless they need to.
I always go concealed all the time and very few people who know me do not know I have a gun.
You do not think the 9mm is effective? Then let me shoot at you.
