I thought it was only Denver because of the "Home Rule" deal in 2003 signed by Meyers. It was a comprimise due to the 3-3 tie with one judge recusing himself.

PA is an open carry state..the only exception is a city of first class (Philadelphia is the only city in that catagory.) In Phily, you must have a LTCF (PA's version of CCW) in order to OC or CC. The rest of the state is OC, with or without a LTCF. The tricky part is, that once you enter a vehicle and you are OC, you are breaking the law unless you have a LTCF. Also in PA, unless asked by a LEO if you are armed, you do not have to announce if you are pulled over in a traffic stop, it's not a legal requirement to offer the info. I do it regardless, simply as a courtesy. Good luck and always stay safe.

    Resident?

Do you have to be resident of the state to open carry, or can you be a traveller/visitor in the state?

I am not sure what state you are referring to, so I will discus Michigan and Indiana as those are the two I am most familiar with.

Michigan, as long as you have a valid permit from your state you can open carry or conceal carry. Non residents need a permit to have a handgun in the state.
Indiana only issues carry permits, so as long as you have a permit you can open or conceal.

Depends on the state and if a permit is required or not. WA, MT, WY, ID, NM, VA, AK, VT, SD, AZ, KS, KY are states that come to mind that state residency does not matter.

Good succinct way of putting it.
