"none of the above"
This is a discussion on If YOU OC: Places you personally choose not to OC? within the Open Carry Issues & Discussions forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; While these place may be legal to OC (in some states) there are just some places where I feel the need to CC instead as ...
Places where they could potentially be large amounts of people.
Adult establishments- Adult book stores/Casinos/Gentleman's clubs.
Church or other religious place of worship.
While these place may be legal to OC (in some states) there are just some places where I feel the need to CC instead as it would be more hassle then not to OC. I'm sure even the most avid OCer has that one or two places where they would not OC even though it is perfectly legal to do so. Where are these places and why do you choose not to OC there? Assuming of course you are still CC instead.
For me I wont OC in daycare centers, in large crowds (depending on the atmosphere), banks, universities and churches. It also depends on if I'm in the mood to deal with people as well.

It's like this guys and gals, you can express your thoughts, but keep it on topic with the thread, obviously if you don't open carry, this thread DOES NOT apply to you, so rather than trying to start a debate on which is better, just move along.
I CC when I go thrift store shopping, just because I don't want to deal with the drama that would ensue, and I don't want to get banned from those places (because they're my favorite place to shop ).
Other than that, I usually CC at malls, on the rare occasion I go to them, because I don't want the mall cops to get their knickers in a twist when they see me.
CC at church. Carrying is not the issue, just don't want to distract or be distracted. Lots of those places I would OC, but don't want to get arrested. Half that list is off limits to all firearms in NC. Not ruling out the bank just yet. Though I did get followed out for carrying my empty holster into on a few months ago. No Mr. Bank manger I did not drop that dollar on the floor, nice try.
Off my property.

FL here, so I can't OC, except when hunting, fishing, camping, and going to and from.
(Hmm, if I keep fishing gear in my vehicle, couldn't I ALWAYS being going to and from??? )
I'll let all y'all know how that works out for me.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
Plus everywhere else here in NC that will cause issues.
I oC everywhere it is legal to do so in Tennessee. That is, when it isn't freezing cold out like it is right now. During the winter months, I am pretty much a full time CC guy as I am always wearing a coat. I get cold easy.
First off,i am a Californian,so if you all are just a little bit informed on our laws we don't have the right to open carry.except if its unloaded.
But then again that opens up a whole other can of worms. But i do have to say i envy those of you who live in states that allow open carry. So i guess i am saying if you can open carry do so.I say this because i am hoping people will become used to it and open up other states to this.
Then again i am a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment, and having a right to carry shouldn't limit us to either open or concealed.
