    Louisiana OC group gets organized

Members of the Louisiana Open Carry Awareness League (LOCAL) recently held a meeting, elected an interm President and set goals for the group in an effort to grow from an online forum to an activist 2A organiziation. We are not as far along as states such as Virginia or Ohio but OCers in the Bayou State are organizing. Wish us luck.

I keep wanting to come over there and take my cover shirt off. I'm only 75 or 80 miles from the line.

I didn't either till about 6 months ago. Probably all the more reason they need an open carry awareness league.

I grew up in Shreveport, LA, and can remember an article in the Shreveport Times in the 70's about a lawyer who open carried his twin pearl handled colt revolvers. Didn't seem out of place then.
