    Talking OC in Springfield Ohio

My wife and I met friends at the Golden Corral.

IT was around 6PM when we got there and there were not many customers.

Per habit I sit with my back to the wall whenever I can and my wife knows this and tries to be helpful.

There were no problems with OCing and we enjoyed ourselves and as always over ate.

You mean that specific Golden Corral is not a CPZ? I have seen three, one in Columbus, one in Chillicothie and one in Zanesville all posted.

The corporate-owned GC's are normally not posted against firearms, the franchised ones often are, at least around Ohio.

The last, and only, time I ate at a Golden Coral, I deficated (wouldn't want to get another language violation) for the next three days.

If I had to go there again I'd leave the gun in the car and put a bottle of Pepto in my holster.

The quality of Golden seems to vary state by state. Down here they are pretty good and no signs plus no alcohol so good to go.

I see you're from Concord! I currently live in China Grove and I open carry often. I just had an OC encounter with a LEO in Kannapolis 2 fridays ago and it went as smooth as butter.

I CC most of the time. In this case we were at home and decided to visit and go out to eat.

It will depend on what I am doing as to OC or CC.
