I'm still calling FUD on this one. No police report, no news report, no nothing. It's as if it never happened.

sorry boys, those plates you see at the doors are not magnetometer (metal detectors) they are RFID scanners and are looking for the little tags that are located in items.

that plate that you place your items on runs a high power field through the sticker and burns it out. also why you do not want to place your CC on it. it will mess that strip up too.

Anyone wondering whether this story has any validity to it needs to go back and read post #145. I seriously doubt Mathar1 and his tale could possibly be rehabilitated.

Can’t wait to see how this one plays out in the media.
In any event, provided the story is as cut n' dry as posted and after the legal stuff is resolved, I would sue their ass off.

Any word from GPDO in this event? They were quick to defend the OP in the original thread....and hang mcp out to dry for questioning the validity of the story?

    So what's up?

WOW! Think of the Gift Card that store is going to pay out after this incident
The Guard was a total jerk! If it's all true, then there's some "spainin" to do, with the Guard, and the Big Box store prople

    Poorly trained or just stupid?

I think he is likely just an idiot with an inferiority complex that felt the need to try to establish his "authority".

Either he ignored his training or decided to rewrite the training manual.
