Whether you think or know your in the right, it just seems that with an out of state ID, you will get yourself in more trouble than it is worth (time and money).

Was not sure what you state you "reside in", but why not apply for the Florida non-resident CCH/CCW permit and just know that you will be legal to conceal carry in a certain number of states (and Kansas does recognize Florida permits).
    This is all very true.
The fact is without folks like Ram Rod who are willing to suffer these inconveniences we would lose the rights or horror of it all be forced to stand up for them ourselves. As long as we have people like him we can sit back and watch Oprah on tv and not be inconvenienced with mundane things like our own rights.

True... but I will NEVER watch Oprah or shows like that (that are Liberal).

I will support shows and my ad dollars with shows that I actually agree with. Give me people and shows that support our 2nd ammendment rights and our basic rights overall.

I know you were making a joke... but for me, give me Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reiley and others.

I haven't looked in a little while but IIRC Open Carry is legal in Wichita as long as you have a CC permit. IANAL, but the way I read the ordinance is that it is still illegal without a permit.

I didn't click through but assume that the links bear that out.

Well, with a high temp of 16, the motel room was the best for open carry in this state! LOL! Drawn and re-holstered twice. Good practice IMO. Really? No chance for open carry but Chili's and Village Inn. No issues. My apologies there isn't much more to tell.
