Here's an additional resource you should have: http://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-202.html
    ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

+1 regarding jumpwing's post. That article about open carry in Washington state is completely inaccurate. At least today it is completely inaccurate, it may just be outdated.

I've been rechecking my resources, and this may indeed be the case. Which would mean the question was a hot item at the time it was written.

    1) Check your own State/localaty's local law

    2) I'd not trust California's opinion on anything dealing with self-defense.

Thanks, VCDL. I think that the OP is getting good responses. That includes your Kalifornia Caveat.

OC is becoming a hot topic in Kalifornia, where I keep a residence. I do not want goodie-two-shoes or BG Kalifornians to know that I carry. My quote is from an authoritative definition of OC, though not as germaine as other posts in the thread.

TN issues a Handgun Carry Permit, and the state makes no distinction between open carry and concealed carry.

Hopefully, SCOTUS is about to lay down 2A to all US and thus liberate California from at least some gun red tape and bureaucrats who profit from it.
