What is the deal with open carry and why do people feel the need to do so. I have carried a weapon as an LEO for 20 plus years and carried a weapon for years for protection for years before that. I am on your side here, so don't attack me, but it seems almost counter productive for alot of reasons. I have not been a member of this forum for very long, and have been reading postings about oc here with great interest. Please help me to understand this concept.
