    Lightbulb Internet resources

I have picked up a couple good website links recently from posts here and started thinking there must be more out there. So... I though I'd start a thread where we can post links to our favorite web sites (mostly related to the forum,of course). I have scores of gun related links, many of them picked up from here, so most of you will recognize them (some of them even belong to members here), but here are the best/most used ones I have found:

http://www.spw-duf.info/ Thoughts on carrying and defensive use

http://www.handgunlaw.us/ Best info on laws out there

http://www.securityarms.com/ Huge archive of firearm pictures and brief info

http://www.theboxotruth.com/ impartial ammo test results with lots of pictures

http://www.mouseguns.com/ small guns and a lot of other information

    http://www.thegunzone.com/ information

http://stevespages.com/page7.htm PDF files of scores of firearm manuals

    http://www.gunlawnews.org/Home/ keeping up on news

    http://www.keepandbeararms.com/ more news

http://www.eskimo.com/~jbm/calculati...culations.html calculators for various ballistic items

http://www.swissminigun.com/home.html a fascinating little gun (that can't be imported to the USA)

    http://www.blindhogg.com/gunsmithing.html misc gunsmithing projects

    Off topic:

http://www.slinging.org/ making and using old time slings (the rock throwing kind)

http://www.alpharubicon.com/index2.html hardcore survival. Membership costs, but the front page has a lot of info you don't need to be a member to access
    eschew obfuscation

The only thing that stops bad guys with guns is good guys with guns. SgtD

A wealth of info on virtualy any action , This board goes from True home building from scratch thro action jobs . Its free to regester , but costs to gain access to the library of referance material . Good helpfull folks there tho who will assist with almost any smithing issue .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .
We only begin to understand folks after we stop and think .

For reloaders - http://www.reloadbench.com/ is a useful site, with a forum as well.

I have a list a mile long of gun oriented sites - will have to check and pick out some useful ones later.

Yes - I guess we can for now - as we only have one sticky in this forum.

If this list grows - and I have yet to add some more myself - then maybe if I have time later I can make up a page to go into my help area.

    Gun review site?

I ran into this one by accident today. Don't know if y'all might find it useful or not. It seems fairly thorough at face value but I haven't had time to drill down through them all yet.

I'll only toss out a couple that I don't see.

While I like Handgunlaw.us (already listed) for actual laws, I prefer the permit map generator at USACarry. Their generator takes into account your home state so makes the correct choices on your non-resident permits and whether certain states accept non-res permits.

Another little site is GunDirectory. Interesting site for specs on firearms and ratings by users.
