Which gun belt to get?
I'm currently looking to get a gun belt, but am hoping to get some opinions before making the expenditure. I'm looking for a gun belt that looks nice, is priced under $50 or so, is reasonably comfortable, and of course is durable as to serve it's purpose. The belts I'm most interested in right now include:
5.11 tactical:
Leather Casual Belt - 1.5" | Belts | 5.11 Tactical
Aker B21:
Aker Leather Dress Belts
Uncle Mikes:
Uncle Mikes Reinforced Holster - Dress Belt
Side notes....I like TheBeltMan belts, but am no longer interested due to the 40 day waiting period. I also like HighNoon's Rock Steady but is WAY more than I intend to spend - find it ridiculously priced. I came across crossbreed belts, but not sure if they are as tough as some of the others. I also saw AgCustom had belts, but their server was messed up so I couldn't get info on the construction of them (do they have a reinforcing center). And on that note, what is the main consensus? Do most people find the middle reinforcement necessary, or is the double leather stitched cross grain sufficient?
I would appreciate everyone's opinions. If you don't like a particular one I have listed please comment why. Thanks for any input on this subject.

Crossbreed Belts
The crossbreed belt is a good belt, double leather, recessed stitching so the stitching does not rub against the holster.

I know you ruled out thebeltman but there is a real good reason for the 40 day wait.
After trying others, 40 days isn't an issue anymore for me.

I bought a belt from Looper Law Enforcement Supply.... and should arrive this week.
Wait time is 2 - 3 weeks (max).
Cost is very reasonable and it is a Kydex/leather gun belt.... so it is thinner than a double thickness leather opnly belt, but the kydex in between the the layers of ;eather they use make is very supportive.
Based on others using and the low cost, I gave it a try and figure that when worn with casual or dress clothes it will look more like a normal belt and less like a gun belt.

Many belts are available under $50 that look good. If carrying IWB many of them will work ok. If carrying OWB you may want something better. Belt loops on the trousers you normally wear may require you to use a narrow therefore weaker belt , all else being equal. I like the selection from Galco. They are not horrendously expensive nor do they require a 6 month wait.

You should really check out Wilderness Tactical Products, LLC | Home of the Titanium Instructor Belt, their instructor belts are great! They also have a couple other styles of belts, depending on what you need.
I have the 5 stitch instructors belt and it handles a Sigma and extra 16rnd mag without any problems. I like it because it feels perfectly normal without a gun too.

I got this deal about 6 weeks ago: 5.11 Tactical Covert Khaki Pants plus FREE SHIPPING at LA Police Gear. 5.11 covert pants, 511 covert pant, 5.11, 511 Tactical.
I didn't have a lot of $ and heard good about the belt so I ordered it and got pants that were my waist and had my wife shorten the legs. It is a great belt and the pants are very well made. All for less than $30. They also have other pant/best combos on sale if you don't like this style.
Oh, and LAPG CS is great.

BTW, the 5.11 belt you have linked in your list is the same belt that I have only mine has more decorative stitching.

Check A&G again, the site is fine now. http://www.agcustomgunleather.com/
You'll pay $70 for their quick ship belts. Well worth the price and the customer service is the best. The belts are very well made, look nice and guaranteed.
I don't believe the reinforcement/internal stiffener is necessary on a good horse or bull hide belt.

Green Lasers
I'd like your opinion on Green vs. Red lasers. I know green needs more power. The one I saw by Viridian rail mounts on a Springfield XD. I guess there is also a universal model. Since it is rail mounted, I would think changing batteries would not be a big issue. My question is do you use a green laser and if so, is rail mounting accurate?

If it's a black belt you're looking for, The Beltman has some 'Quick Ship' belts they offer. They're the same quality.
