I think that it is a bit of a overkill.
Plus its like a having a big sign saying, when I leave, I have a bunch of guns so have at it.

Surprised some anti gun Politician, Group or Person hasn't tried to make a law against having a Loaded Mailbox.

yeah there is some bbq place here in Atlanta that has a huge one out front. They are notorious for it. Needless to say, they allow their customers to CC in their establishment.
