Best EDC light for around $30-$35

Ok so I originally posted a comment about the streamlight microstream, and although many recommended, many other people recommended other lights that are easily $50.

I wanted to keep my budget limited but did want a light with good output i could pocket carry easily and has a multi light feature. So with that being said I'd like to spend around $30-$35 shipped....

    I'm open to all suggestions.

In your price range I would suggest the Smith and Wesson Galaxy Elite 2 AA CREE Tactical Flashlight

I found two lights in a package at Sam's Wholesale less than 30. 150 lumens. Somebody that knows more about this stuff than me look at them and tell me if that's a good buy.

I went the cheap route, I went to Wal-mart and picked up a Mag Light Solitair (A gun metal for me and a Pink Breast Cancer for my girlfriend) and I bought a 9 LED light at Autozone with blue bulbs for 5 bucks. Both cost me 10 dollars total and picked up a 3d cell Maglight, and a 4d cell Maglight for under 20 each. the 3 is in my pickup and the 4 at home. I carry the mag in pocket and the led in a carbiner on my belt loop. Check out some of the wholesale type stores around you, I found one that has 9 led lights shipped from thailand I think that are excellent, pick them up for 1.00. Bought a few and gave them away, They have lasted a good while.

I don't EDC a light, but have used this as a nightstand light for about 6 months. Using two CR123 batteries it is super bright! It has been great so far and it is very inexpensive for the features and quality. Free shipping, but it comes from China so shipping takes about 2 weeks.

I've got the Surefire G2, with the LED conversion. It says 80 lumens, but no strobe. $60 though, exceeds your budget.

The standard G2 is $36 here at Sportsman's Warehouse.

I like the Streamlight MicroStream, but I've yet to pick one up.

+1 on the Streamlight Microstream. I have one and for a small and very easy to carry light it is sure bright.

they are excellent, I bought them and I use them "up north" at my vacation property in the Adirondacks.

I don't know if they would make a good "tactical" flash light, but for everyday use I like them a lot.
