CT laser grips 305's vs. 405's?

Between these two models of laser grips which is the better model as far as recoil absorption? I currently have the 405's with the "air pocket" on the back on my 340PD and they are very nice grips. However I looked at a set of LG-305's which the rubber over molded and offer a spot for a three finger grips as well.

My problem is I almost always pocket carry my 340PD and am wondering if the LG-305 grips would hinder pocket carry as they are longer than the boot style 405's? For those here who have experience with these laser grips give me some feedback on which of these feels better to shoot and use for a gun that is pocket carried.

For pocket carru you need the 405s. I have the M&P my friend has the PD. he has 305s on his and they stick out of the tops of his jeans pockets. The 405s dont do that. If the 105s absorbed more recoil they would be on my gun.
