About LinkBacksPersonally, I love the pants from LAPoliceGear. For only $20 they can't be beat and I much prefer them to my 5.11's.

I just got a few pairs of shorts from EOTac. I liked the tac pants that i got from them last year and was looking for some new shorts. So far I like them. Plenty of nice big pockets that are easy to get stuff in and out of. Great for RWRs in IDPA.
Bend the knees, smooth is fast, watch the front sight.

Actually, 511 and EoTac both make very good shorts. I personally prefer the "comfort" and design of the EoTac shorts over the 511's. But both are very comfortable and functional. I bought my EoTac shorts locally for $37. (Worth every penny!)
