I am looking at purchasing some Wiley X Romer II glasses for $60 on Ebay and then sending them to this place to put on some prescription Transistion Lenses for $125
Eyeglasses, Presciption Eyeglasses, Prescription Lenses, Rimless Eyeglasses, Flexible Titanium Eyeglasses
I spoke with the people at Eyeglass direct and they said that they recommend the Polycarbonate Transistion lenses as they are lighter, more shatter resistant. Also I asked how light are they indoors and how dark do they get, and they told me that indoors they are almost clear and that they get as dark as sunglasses in bright light. Also they said that their transition lenses meet or exceed ANSI Z87 standards.
So do you all think this is a good deal or not for a combo of prescription sunglasses / shooting glasses for $225 ?? If not any other recommendations ?? Also has anyone used or tried the Wiley X Romer II glasses ?? Thanks for any info. God Bless
