ATN Javelin Review
I was looking for a flashlight for my wife the other day due to the fact that she got a job as Security at a major National Venue.
Now she gets to see the damage done by her previous line of work, Bartending. :image035:
After careful review of various sites including DC on this issue, I arrived at this decision:
The ATN J125 Javelin.
For around $70.00, Amazon.com: ATN J125 Tactical Flashlight 125 Lumen Halogen bulb: Home Improvementthe ATN J125 Javelin is a great defensive investment. Surprisingly concealable, this larger-than-average Tactical Flashlight is a potent addition to any EDC.
Its crenelated bezel is designed for devastating defensive strikes...
...and the Momentary Switch is shrouded for use as a Kubotan.
My wife wasn't the only one to get one, as you can see... This light has become my new EDC for home and work. The crenelations are useful opening various items in the Hotel, and my Wife reports superior performance at work. This a good light for the money that I feel perfectly comfortable in carrying for EDC.
Thanks for reading!
Nice looking light! I never carry one. Do you have a flashlight holster or do you just put it in your pocket?
Just in my pocket. I will probably attempt some kind of custom leather holster for it soon.
I find it interesting how many lights (including this one) look like knock-offs of SureFire products.
It may be at that, but it was cheaper and just as effective. Can't always go for top dollar...
