A few months back I purchased a Walther SP22 M3 pistol and decided I wanted a reflex sight for it. After looking around and comparing prices I settled on a Walther NanoPoint reflex sight. They are listed on the S&W website at an MSRP of $173 but I found one for less online (new) so I bought it. When it arrived I was pleased with the build quality and the heft of the little optic and quickly mounted it on the SP22 M3 and went to the gravel pit to test it out. The sight worked great but I soon realized that the multi-position switch would not index into the "off" position. "Off" is the center position an switching it to the left or to the right puts the dot on "Manual" (constant high brightness) or "Auto" (brightness controlled by a sensor).
I contacted S&W and they sent me a FedEx sticker for return. After about 3 weeks I called to check the status and was told that they had not yet seen my package in returns but would look for it. Then the CSR said to me "I have one laying here on my desk that I will send to you." I asked him if he would be sending it with a return label so I can ship it back after my unit arrived and he told me not to worry and consider it a gift form S&W. In the mean time he would track down my item and expedite my return. Well another 2 weeks went by and today I got my Walther NanoPoint from S&W returns department with an apology that it took so long to process.
What a SWEET deal. 2 brand new reflex sights! I love that company!!
