    Surefire Lithium 123A Batteries?

I found Surefire 123 Lithium Batteries at Lowes for $5 (pack of 2). This seemed like a really good deal since most places sell Energizer and Duracell for $10 for a pack of 2.

But, I have never used Surefire batteries. Has anyone here used them. Also, they are made in the USA.

It is nice to be able to get them without ordering them online. This price seemed so cheap that I was wondering if it was a mistake.

I bought a couple of packs, but I am thinking about buying more.

Bass pro and my LGS have them for about the same price. They are standard issue in the Surefire line of lights and I have not bad problems with them. They are engineered for lights rather than light meters or cameras so they should work with any brand of light as far as I know.

I have used them for quite some time and find them serviceable. I just get them from Surefire @ 12/$21 plus shipping.

Cheaper than dirt: 6 pack for $15.00, but it sounds like there are some better sources out there. You did ok compared to Wal-Mart that and you have them now.

Same here. I use them in three of my lights and have had no problems.

Well, I got them for about $2.50 each. Is there a better deal?

If you buy them from Surefire, the $7 shipping makes them about $2.33 each.

$5 for a pack of 2 seems a bit expensive.
Surefire sells them for... High-performance Surefire Rechargeable 123A Lithium Flashlight Batteries ...12 for $21, and I have seen them cheaper if your shop around.

I know you specified SureFire branded batteries - I have been buying them directly from SureFire for years but just this week ordered a box of 50 "Tenergy" for $48 based on a few recommendations I have heard.

Rechargeable Batteries & Battery Chargers - 50 Pcs of CR123A Lithium Photo Batteries, High capacity 1300mAh

Supposedly they work well with SureFire lights, even if SureFire insists we use their own brand of battery. It may even void the warranty - but I really don't care.

I'll be the guinea pig and let you all know how it goes.

Don't forget to add the $7 for shipping. This brings the total to $28 for 12. (2.33 each)

So, I don't think 2 for $5 is that bad. Plus it nice being able to pick them up locally.

After paying $10 for 2 at Wal-Mart, I was pretty excited.
