Manual Dexterity
Anyone else having problems as they get older with being to manipulate items with their fingers? I do not have arthritis or any other bone and joint problems at age 58, but I notice my fingers "don't work" as good as they used to.
I have decided to start using a Gripmaster exerciser to help my trigger finger strength and dexterity. Anyone else use one? I think it will be a great help.
:yup:

I don't use a gripmaster myself, but think it's a good idea.
I think some degradation is normal with aging. That said, I also believe it can be staved off with exercise. Try a pair of heavy Chinese balls. Working them around seems to help my dexterity.

I have not noticed my fingers failing me particularly, but my whole body seems to be 'going to hell in a hand-basket', so to speak...what doesn't hurt, doesn't work.
I do keep a couple of spring grippers in my car and use them pretty regularly when I'm driving. I can't walk up stairs without tripping, but I do have a heck of a handshake.
I have these... http://www.sourcingmap.com/red-sprin...r-p-15273.html (Certainly a cheap way to build up one's grip.)

I haven't noticed that yet, and I have ten on you. I believe that use, typing, untagling the wifes jewelry with a loup and awl and similar things help stave off the lack of dexterity. Use it or lose it.

The GripMasters are great.
Getting up to being able to easily run through a series of exercises using the MEDIUM GripMaster will greatly improve shooting performance as well as endurance.
They are not expensive and are one of the greatest devices ever for building hand and finger strength and as a plus are great also for building up the forearm a bit.
