It looks interesting to me. I'm considering one of these for a .22 I have, and if that goes well, I'd probably put one on my Savage .308 (although I'd be slightly worried about the effects of the recoil on it, but I'm not an engineer or scientist). The only bipods I have any real experience with are on the M-249, and grip-pods, so I don't know much about putting them on civilian rifles.

Of course Harris is the big name in bipods, but I wonder if these offer a more affordable replacement, for rifles that aren't really going to get used for "serious" kind of work, but I'd still like to have a bipod on them.
