just picked up a fenix pd30 r4 - $60
blinding , easy to work - and did i say bright ? the strobe is amazing , and a sos if one needs , long battery life ...
i really can not see a reason ( other than made in ..) not to buy ? - and i do try hard for made in the usa
any one have bad news on this one ?
Nope, in fact my 5 yr.old plays with my PD 30 just about every day.
And any light that can stand the torture test of a 5 yr.old boy, passes the test with me
My fenix is awesome, I love it and it does a great job. I have dropped it several times and works great still. with daily use the battery life is like 4 months.

Such not a good idea ! The light is blinding for short peroids and the strobe can cause seizures

Yep, Fenix lights IMO are the best value out there in flash lights. I have two. A TK-10 and P3D. They are great. Surefires IMO are way overpriced.
