I have looked into purchasing a auto vault. I always try to carry on my person but sometimes thats not possible, Ex:at work, government building,etc. I have locked it in glove compartment temporarily but dont think thats too safe. I looked at a console vault but dont see one that would work for the center console for my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Does anybody know of any for my suv? If thats not an option i guess i would purchase one of those In-car gun safes from Center of Mass website.

The Center of Mass safes work very well. If you can find a place to HIDE the safe, you're in better shape.
In some vehicles (Mini Cooper, for example), I was able to hide the CoM safe inside the tail light compartment from inside the vehicle. You wouldn't find it if I said there was a gun in the car, go get it.
In our Chrysler 300, I have a CoM safe in the trunk under the spare cover, and it's attached to the spare...again, not easy to find.
Be creative in where you put the CoM safe, and you should be relatively safe leaving your firearm in your vehicle for short periods of time.
