Can't wait for it to arrive!!
Nice looking safe, I'm gonna have to look for this one.
Thanks for the comments everyone... everything is still good with the safe, the rope lights have been maintaining perfect temp and humidity. Costco still shows it on sale, there are 58 reviews as of this evening.

I bought my safe about twenty years ago. I have just now filled it up and I am looking for a smaller one for just long guns. I am a cabinetmaker so making the interior myself isn't a issue. I may look into this one. Can it be ordered with a mechanical turn dial lock? I just don't like any of the new electronic locks. Just one less thing to worry about. I would install a Goldenrod in the back to keep any moisture down. All n all it is a very, very mice safe for the money you paid. Now work on filling that bad boy up. Hope it doesn't take you as long as it took me, lol!!!

I have not seen one from Costco with a dial lock, though I am sure if you look hard enough you may be able to find something similar from Sam's or Tractor Supply or a similar retailer. Good luck in your search, post some pics when you get what you want!

NCHornet, the electrical locks aren't a big deal (too me, anyway...). Sure, they work on battery power, but they usually have an indicator light that tells you when you should replace the batteries. Also, they come with long keys that, should the electrical lock fail, allow you to open the safe after removing the keypad. I don't have a problem or sleep any worse knowing I've got a keypad lock instead of a dial. I like the fact that the keypad lock is quicker to open, and the keypad lock can be opened by me or my wife in complete darkness, unlike a combination dial.
Cheers!

This lock is the Sargent and Greenleaf 6120, it does not come with a key backup.
