? Factors to consider in designing a light holster ?

I am going to a local saddle/holster maker to have a combo carrier for a light and magazine made.

For the mag I know I want close to body and canted with a flap to cover all the metal so it does not dig into my side.

What factors should I consider for the light?? Does anyone have advice on how that should be fit? I don't have any experience to draw upon and I want to make this a one time design (ok maybe a few more for other calibers later with refinements but I want a working holster the first time).

as I type I am thinking maybe a single light holder with a seperate double mag holder.......that way I am not tied to one gun.

one thing is for sure, u dont want the holster to activate ur light, to either light u up, or to drain ur batt.

i like my flashlights to be bezel down, so i dont have to grasp the head and then flip it around in my hand.

,,, me personally i have a 4seven's quark 2AA tactical light, and it clips to my weak side pocket...i know female jeans arent that deep, but they also have a single AA or single cr123 flashlight that might fit in ur pocket?
