    I "outgrew" my carry belt

Maybe outgrew isn't the right word. Walking around Paris the last 2 months have had some very beneficial results to my waist size. I finally got back home yesterday and went to strap on my EDC and even with the belt totally cinched up, it was still not tight on my waist.

It was a 5.11 and I liked it. Any other good/cheaper but still high quality options you guys would throw my way?

Bonjour! I would use this an excuse to get a tres chic gun belt in a different color or style. We just ordered some 5.11 stuff and got a free belt as part of the order, maybe you could call them and ask if you bought "x" could they throw in a belt? We also get mugs and hats with orders, maybe you will find somebody in a good mood over there.

My advise is to pack up your carry belt, and ship it to me!

(On a more serious note, might be time to get a Beltman or other custom sized bet. )

Don't worry, now that you're back in the land of beer and hot dogs, I have a hunch you'll quickly grow back into your old belt. I just can't believe you lost weight in Paris of all places. Don't they still make Cordon Bleu?

You spent two months in Paris walking around and now your belt is too big. Poor baby. I don't want to hear it!

I wish my worn-out knees would allow me to walk around anywhere. A new belt would not be a problem.

    Good for you!

Every time I outgrow a belt, it works the opposite way!

I thought so too, but I have lost about 25 lbs and I am completely our of adjustment on mine. If I hadn't lost weight I would have needed to buy one for the other reason.

I thought France was famous for their gourmet cuisine. Shouldn't the beltline have grown??

Having said that, I did a 28 day tour of the Soviet Union in 1979, never left the table hungry, and lost about 20 pounds.
