I finally ordered a set of Buffalo horn grips for my 649, I had ordered a set of Tyler T-grips for it late in June, but even after numerous calls to them I still haven"t received anything for my money except a lot of excuses. I would not recommend sending them money for a t-grip.

I've tried a lot but for pure function the OEM grip is the best setup in my opinion. I love the looks of wood but you feel more recoil. I've tried the pachmyr compacts and they make it feel like a .22 but they're huge compared to the oem grips. My clothes don't grip or hang up on the OEM grip so they're good.
For years I've struggled with the temptation to try a laser and the new 403 grip. I like the looks and feel of that grip but hate to try a laser because if I love it then I have quite a few other guns w/no laser and I like a degree of standardization.
All of my carry guns have night sights and are essentially DAO with only one exception.
I lust ofter black wood with gray grain or pattern on a bead blast finished 640-1
