Please help me shoot some steel!
I was at the range this weekend and a fellow there had a steel plate set up on a stand that angled slightly forward, in order to deflect rounds down to the ground. The plate was about the size of average center mass. He let me take some shots at it, and I AM HOOKED!! The instant feedback was absolutely addicting. I now must have a couple for myself. Can someone please point me in the direction of some steel plates and stands? I would like to buy 2 stands and plates, I like to set up my own "tactical range" at my gun club and 2 steel plates would add a lot of fun to the mix. I would like not to spend a lot of money, but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for," so quality is important.
Also, can these plates be shot with 55gr 223 Remington FMJ rounds? It would be nice to get some feed back while shooting my AR-15 at a distance.
Can these plates be shot with Buck shot (either #4 or 00)? What about slugs?
